Signs and Synchronicities

Proof That We're Always Supported, Especially in Our Grief

"Let this magical little book be the blueprint for rebuilding your trust that life is, in fact, working in your favor. Whether you've recently lost someone or you're going through a challenging time, documenting the signs and synchronicities you experience will always, always bring more. Notice the mini-miracles that surround you, even in the darkest of times. They're everywhere, I promise!"

An Uncommon Farewell
How to Honor the Loss of Your Loved One in the Time of Pandemic

  • What to do when a loved one dies and the world is social distancing?

  • When a traditional religious service no longer fits?

  • How to include friends and family members when it’s not safe to travel?

In lieu of putting it off altogether, my book gives options for creating a highly personal, non-denominational celebration of life or memorial service. I lay out options you may have never thought to include and provide prompts to spark our own creativity. With samples of and links to every genre of music, poems, prayers and even instructions on how to write a eulogy, this book will save you many hours, if not days of searching the internet.

For those who have recently lost someone during this time of social distancing, An Uncommon Farewell gives options and sparks ideas on how to create a personalized, socially distanced remembrance ceremony. With links to Youtube music videos (ebook only), instructions on how to structure a basic memorial service, guidance on how to craft a eulogy, poems, prayers and words of comfort, this book is a wonderful healing touchstone for anyone in the beginning of their grief journey.

A Godsend! This is such a gift! Deborah has a gift with assisting us through planning one of the worst things in the world. I highly recommend this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars! Very meaningful, well written resource for anyone processing the loss of a loved one. Having worked as a psychotherapist for over 45 years, I found this little book extremely well done, helpful and comforting. The author’s past experience with planning services for funerals is reflected on every page. It is short, which is helpful as many who are recently bereaved have shorter attentions spans than normal. It is full of relevant suggestions for songs and readings reflecting religious and non-religious needs. It will be helpful to anyone recently bereaved whether going through a pandemic or not. Congratulations to the author for this special gift for those processing grief.
